Coxheath Elementary learn a lot about watts!

Grade 2 students at Coxheath Elementary had a blast learning about energy!

They learned what a watt is, and how many watts LED Christmas lights consume compared to an incandescent strand – a lot! At the end of the presentation students moved to their floor space at the back of the classroom where they keep the classroom lights turned off because the sun provides more than enough light! Very energy efficient! There they could see and use the flip chart where they wrote down many of the ways they learned they can save energy.
