Baddeck Academy receives $3000 Nutrients for Life grant!

The school has developed a plan and met with their garden committee and are in the midst of putting in a school garden. Engagement Officer SHandel Brown attended an assembly with the elementary school students on April 1st where teacher Karen Welton announced the garden project. With help from Shandel, the students put together a scarecrow that will stand guard in their garden. They also talked about all the different things they can do to help the earth.
