Coxheath Elementary celebrated Take Me Outside Day!

Coxheath Elementary celebrated Take Me Outside Day by holding all gym and music classes outside!

Students also watched a short video from Green Schools Engagement Officer Shandel Brown about what kind of things they can do outside (click below to view). It’s really fun and it has lots of cats!

They got an extra 30 minutes added to their lunch break, and unstructured play allowed students to explore their playground where they found worms and chestnuts. All the staff came outside too and even played on the slide with the students!
