Ecole Rockingham’s awesome energy dashboard !

Ecole Rockingham invited Green Schools to spend two full days presenting on energy to the entire school, from Grade Primary to 6!

As usual, the students’ interest and knowledge about the environment, our impact on it, and how we can reduce that impact was impressive and inspiring. The students were bundles of energy as they learned about electricity and how to use the energy meters to test different light bulbs and electronics like a hair dryer, kettle and iPad.

Whilst there, Green Schools also got to check out HRSB’s revamped Lights Off Green On energy dashboard, which shows in real time the demand and consumption of electricity, fuel and water, in addition to proving green tips!
