Energy news from école acadienne de Truro!

Grades 4 and 5 at école acadienne de Truro learned about energy, where it comes from, and the importance of reducing energy consumption along with ways to be more efficient. The students shared what they liked about the presentation along with actions and ideas they would like to do to help waste less energy. They enjoyed the light bulb demonstration by seeing the various types and which ones use less energy with the energy meter. Many students expressed how they already turn off lights and other electric devices at home. Others were inspired to apply these behaviours in the school.

Engagement Officer Josee-Ann Cloutier will be back to meet with grades 6, 7 and 9 which are working on an energy project. Stay tuned for more to come at École acadienne de Truro!
