EO Katie traveled to Yarmouth and area schools this week

This week was Katie’s first week back visiting classes and schools in person!   This was also her long distance trip to Yarmouth and area schools.  Here are a few comments that Katie sharing with you that she heard while visiting classrooms about energy: 

“I love energy!  It’s so cool we got to experiment how different items use different amounts of energy.”

While doing the act-out climate change activity, a student shared this comment with the class:

“Oh I get this now!  Humans need to pay more attention to what we do to impact our Earth.  I guess the sun isn’t to blame after all. “

From a grade 6 student perspective:  “wow so just changing our light bulbs or things in our home can affect how much energy is used.”
