Green Schools Kicks Off the New Year with Upgraded Virtual Engagements

As we step into 2024, Green Schools is thrilled to announce exciting updates to our Virtual Engagements, ensuring students continue to enjoy dynamic and educational experiences tailored to the winter season. Our Engagement Officers (EOs) have been hard at work throughout December, revamping and enhancing the content of our virtual offerings to bring engaging and interactive presentations to classrooms across the region.

The updated Virtual Engagements now feature a range of new components designed to captivate and educate students. Each session includes:

• A video introducing key concepts in a visually engaging way.
• A movement activity to get students involved and active while reinforcing learning.
• Discussion-based learning on three fascinating topics: Ocean Plastics, Life Before Electricity, and Habitats.

In addition, Green Schools is excited to offer two convenient booking options for each virtual engagement, providing flexibility for educators to fit these sessions into their classroom schedules seamlessly.

We’re particularly thrilled to announce that January sessions will include an optional interactive Kahoot quiz, turning learning into an exciting and competitive experience for students. These upgrades reflect Green Schools’ commitment to fostering curiosity, understanding, and environmental stewardship through innovative and hands-on educational methods.
