Growing Greener Futures: CSAP Schools’ Environmental Learning Initiatives
Back to storiesThis week, our Bilingual Engagement officer Ian had the opportunity to check out Centre Scolaires Rive-du-Sud in Cookville, near Bridgewater and École Rose-des-Vents in Greenwood.
While there he noticed, CSAP (Conseil scolaire acadien provincial) schools Centre scolaire de la Rive-du-Sud and École Rose-des-vents are leading the charge in nature-based learning. With vibrant indoor arboretums and multiple outdoor classrooms, they immerse students in hands-on environmental education. From planting seeds to wildlife observation, students have the opportunity to engage with nature, fostering a connection to their environment.
Through these experiences, these CSAP schools instill values of stewardship, preparing students to be leaders in environmental conservation. Every lesson is a step towards a greener future. Bravo les écoles!
