Inverness Education Centre/Academy are feeling energetic!

Inverness Education Centre/Academy students in Ms. Ingraham’s Grade 4 class had a lot of fun learning about watts and how much energy different devices in our home consume. Can you believe that a strand of LED Christmas lights use so little power that they don’t even register on an energy meter?!

Engagement Officer Shandel Brown also met with a class of Grade 10 students who wanted to know what kinds of careers are available in the energy efficiency sector. Engineers, architects, designers, computer techs, researchers, teachers, windmill technicians…almost any career could use energy efficiency to improve our lives in some way!
